The three-day NextGen Cultural Weekend organized in Naples concluded on Sunday, November 5, 2023. It was attended by representatives of Domus Polonorum. NextGen is a group of individuals up to the age of 45 acting within the international organization European Historic Houses, which includes Domus Polonorum. The program for the weekend was as follows:
Friday, November 3 – touring the Sansevero Chapel and going out for the famous Neapolitan pizza together;
Saturday, November 4 – a guided tour of the Archaeological Museum, which includes, among others, mosaics from Pompeii, a visit and lunch at a private palace in central Naples, a visit to the church of Pio Monte della Misericordia, where one can admire the painting „The Seven Works of Mercy” by Caravaggio, as well as the church of Sant’Anna dei Lombardi. In the evening, there was an opportunity to participate in a ball taking place within the Gaetano Filangieri City Museum;
On Sunday, November 5 – there was a tour and lunch at the Carafa di Maddaloni palace.
The event was attended by over 50 people from all over Europe. We thank the organizers for a well-arranged program!
We are pleased to inform that the next meeting of the NextGen group will take place in February 2024 in Warsaw. Domus Polonorum will host the event.
